GEMS is a program for girls in grades 2-7 that seeks to help them develop a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ, foster relationships with mentors, and make new friends in a caring, small-group setting. The program, which stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour, is guided by the aim stated in Micah 6:8, which says, “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God!” GEMS happens every second Thursday evening from 7-8:30pm from September to May.

Within the small groups, the girls have discussions and learn to apply the Bible to their daily lives. There is also craft or activity time where they can get a little messy and earn a badge or two! A few times throughout the year, we have special field trips and events. It’s a fun way to grow closer to Christ and to each other.

The Cadets program is for boys from the church and surrounding community in grades 3-7. The program seeks to share Christ’s love through short Bible lessons, activities, badgework, and outdoor outings. We have a lot of fun, improve our practical skills, and form lasting friendships with fellow cadets and counselors. Cadets meets twice a month from September to May, with a camp-out somewhere along the way.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is a program that happens at our church building for one week in the summer. This is a completely free program for kids from Kindergarten to Grade 6 that is open to anyone, whether you attend our church, another church, or no church at all!

Stepping Stones Bible Camp

Stepping Stones is a non-profit, overnight Bible camp for students from grades 3-12. For one week during the summer, the camp combines wonderful activities and adventures with teachings about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The students are grouped together according to age and mentored by a group of counselors.

We aim to share the gospel with kids who are not familiar with it, and to nurture the faith of those who are. All are welcome! Sponsorship is available for some children.
